Kurt with Pizza 9-12_edited-1There’s nothing that says P-A-R-T-Y more than Pizza.  Generally when we think of a casual at-home party, pizza is involved.  Rather than ordering in, learn how to make great pizza in your home oven and make the pizza-making the center of your party’s entertainment.  Whether you are cooking for four or many more, you will learn how to get the kids and your guests to help in making the meal.

So come join us at the Pizza Party on Wednesday, October 9, 6:00 – 9:00 pm at the Holy Nativity Community Hall in Westchester when we will be cooking up some of the best and most creative pizzas.  Here’s a sampling of some new creation.  We will also have lots of toppings so you can customize your own personal pizza
and share it with your friends.

  • Pear and Pecorino Pizza with Honey & Sage
  • Sicilian Shrimp & Tomato Pizza
  • Caramelized Onion Pizza with Capers & Olives
  • Ham & Peas Pizza Bianca
  • Margherita Pizza

Piece of Pizza 9-12Learn how to make the one-minute pizza dough along with a true Neapolitan Pizza with “00” flour and taste the difference between these doughs.  With hot pizza stones and a paddle, we will try out some new creations on America’s favorite food. Bring your creativity and sense of adventure to this class for the whole family.

Patricia K. Rose, of Fresh Food in a Flash will lead this hands-on cooking class on October 9, 6:00-9:00 at the Holy Nativity Community Hall in Westchester.    Once we complete the cooking, sit down and enjoy a meal you and your new friends made together with a glass of wine.

Class fee $40 when you reserve by October 7, $45 at the door.  $20 for children under 12 when accompanied by an adult.   To reserve your spot,  email .  Then write a check to “Fresh Food in a Flash”; mail it to Holy Nativity Episcopal Church, Cooking Class,  6700 West  83rd Street, Westchester, CA  90045.
