La Cucina Italiana Cooking Class – Sept 13, 2012

Every issue of La Cucina Italiana that comes across my desk is like candy for the eyes.  The photos are so tantalizing.  I have been pouring over these beautiful issues to prepare for our La Cucina Italiana Cooking Class on Thursday, September 13, 6:00 – 9:00 at the Holy Nativity Community Hall in Westchester.  I look at these magazines most days, since I sell advertisers on promoting their products in La Cucina Italiana, but today I am reviewing the recipes with a different eye. I’m looking for recipes that we can make easily and enjoy in our three hour class.  As I do this, I’m getting hungry and tempted to make a few different things for dinner tonight.  That’s the problem!  What to make from all the possible choices.

Learn to make Fresh Fettucine

I’ve narrowed the menu choices for our class down to these and am still mulling over some others.

  • Fresh Fettucine with Walnut Sauce    Fettucine con salsa di noci
  • Risotto with Orange Zest and Rosemary Oil   Ariance nel risotta mantecato all’olio di rosmarino
  • Grilled Branzino with fennel and herbs    Branzino al finocchio  (We’ll use a whole fish)
  • Classic Zabaglione   zabione
  • Apples in Parchment    mela nel cartoccio
  • Prosecco Bellinis
Come join us and learn to make authentic Italian recipes…America’s favorite cuisine of the world.
