Food Blogger, Melba Melendez,, Patti Londre, Camp Blogaway

We had a fabulous time at Camp Blogaway this past weekend in the Big Bear Mountains.  I met amazing new friends who are just as obsessed about food as I am. That made me very happy and validated all my thoughts and feelings about food and cooking.  This includes fellow campers pictured here, Food Blogger Melba Melendez, who won the La Cucina Italiana Gift Basket and Patti Londre, Camp Blogaway and

You’ll see more about a cooking demo I did for Fiji Water on my blog soon.  We tasted the difference between lemonade made with Fiji water and LA city water along with carrot and parsnip ribbons cooked in both of the waters.

Playing with Wilton products

We also got to try out all the cool Wilton products during a demo.  I loved this and can’t wait to try out some of these products in my Cooking classes or on some cakes and cupcakes for my friends.

I was thinking the same thing…and when the camper pulled out the vodka on Sunday to promote it as a food stylist tool, everyone was asking where that was all weekend!!

Thanks. Sorry I didn’t get to hang out at your Watermelon table, but it looked beautiful and so did you in your Chef’s whites. See you soon.
